Under Development & Under Developed
It's Sunday day after the Carnival Freedom returned on it's 7-day Western Carribian Cruise. The photos are still being worked so if you have logged on there is not much to see. Just Me so far as of Monday 1:55 am.
Sunday evening is over as it's a quarter to one in the morning hour of Monday. It's though the end of day three from the day Friday I picked up my birthday present to myself a (spanking) new bicycle. Purchased a 2017 Specialized Roll Comfort bike from Richardson Bike Mart. Good store / recommend.
Learning to ride a bicycle all over again. It's been so many years I can not remember when I rode my last bike that my son Kyle rides currently. Relearning to get on and off, be steady overcoming many of the wobbles is my goal. I've logged about 13 miles in the three days so it's coming back to me. Tonight was a night ride. "Love the little light it's so bright". My pathway was rough, need to stick to the level trail, compliments of the city.
All three days so far have been great and enhanced by a toke prior to the pedaling. It's a pleasure I have not partaken in several, several years. Opens the mind eye - so I think.
Looking forward to increasing my riding distance. Taking it easy for the moment - no hurry. My comfort bike which is also classified as a commuters bicycle is not made for speed. A true senior citizen design by the bike makers.
Trying very hard to not accessorize to quickly. It's for me going to be the biggest challenge of ownership.
All said I'm content. Perhaps I will lose some of the fifteen pounds the doctor suggested. Ad placement on Craigslist hasn't been effective. Go figure?
It's another early morning or late day at 2:00 pm. This weekend walked around and photographed at the fall Cottonwood Arts Festival in Richardson, Texas. This arts fair and music event is held twice a year - Spring and Fall. Music is always a pleasure to listen or to photograph. This year I only photographed one band which was a Celtic Traditions group. Consisted of a harp player which was a treat musically but also great as I've never shot a harp player. Six member band from Dallas. I encourage you if your in the area and see they are playing to go for a listen. No Kilt Required
